Dear Prof. M. Kostic,

Before I start my full-time job tomorrow, I really would like to take this opportunity to thank you for offering the professional training and the wonderful guidance in the past one and half years. I also really appreciate you have spent a lot of time on me.

Actually what I have learned at NIU is mostly from you. It is you who make me understand a lot; it is you who make me pursue on the road with obstacles; it is you who make me do more and more solid work; it is you who make me be more confident; It is you who guide me in every directions. I would like to say I would definitely not better than what I am if I did not take you as my advisor. From my point of view, I have no doubt that you are the best professor in M.E. department. I am always telling Sandeep that he will accomplish more than other students and be very grateful working with the supervision under Prof. M. Kostic.

As the first and only one so far among M.E. graduates at NIU this year, who gets a full-time job offer, I know I could not do this without you. I am so proud of you today. I will also keep working hard in my career. I hope you will also be proud of me, one of your students, in the future.

I have a lot of grateful words for you, which are more than the above. At this time it is hard for me to write all of them to you. I would like to end this email with a Chinese proverb,"you would be my advisor forever, even though you were my advisor just for one day".
