For MEE 340 Students: Study posted Handout (PDF-B&W) and online Help and get acquainted with Fluent's FLOWLAB CFD application software available in our Computer Lab: "The FLOWLAB educational software package is designed to be a virtual fluids laboratory which uses CFD to teach and visually reinforce concepts in fluid flow and heat transfer, and to introduce you to the effective use of CFD for solving fluid flow problems. FLOWLAB receives user input by means of its Graphical User Interface (GUI). A part of the FLOWLAB GUI is problem dependent. This is managed by a problem specific template file. A user session is referred to as a job and a template is used to create multiple jobs. FLOWLAB provides a seamless integration of CFD preprocessor, solver, and postprocessor. FLOWLAB uses GAMBIT for preprocessing and postprocessing. It uses FLUENT for solving a fluid flow problem."
